Quick bread mixes for gifts?
Besides beer bread, does anyone else know of quick bread mixes to make up and give as gifts?
And what do you use for packaging? I was thinking of maybe hitting up goodwill for some mason jars.
Re: Quick bread mixes for gifts?
I make these up for myself, just for when I want to make bread without having to get out all my measuring cups, etc. I keep banana bread mix, apple bread mix, and brownie mix in mason jars in my pantry. The recipes fit perfectly.
I've never given them as gifts, though... that's a good idea. You could put cute fabric on the lids and there are also lots of nice printable tags, etc. on the web. (It seems like these are frequently posted on oneprettything.com.)
