Re: oh wow!!

  • Again honey, it has nothing to do with the "advertising" rule you broke.  It has everything to do with the fact that your MIL is a puppy mill.  Her horrible breeding practices are ruining two breeds which I love, and she's taking away homes from a ton of shelter dogs who will die as a result.

Check out petfinder.com to see all of the rescue dogs your MIL is hurting by her breeding.

  • Nikki can't control her MIL's decisions or actions.

I think she gets it now. Maybe a free pass is in order?

I actually don't think she "gets it" honestly.  I think she gets that it's not okay to post that here, but not that her MILs actions are disgusting, unethical, and really harmful on a number of levels (but it's great for her wallet, so it must be okay, right?).

I would bet she's continuing to post this on any other forums, FB, fliers in her local grocery stores, etc. just to help out dear ol' MIL, while people like myself and the other pets board ladies continue to work tirelessly to save as many shelter dogs as we can (yes, including yorkies.  My smallish local shelter has a couple purebred ones right now).   People like this make the job damn near impossible.

She can't control her MIL doing something that is completely repugnant, but she doesn't have to help her do it.

  • Well, I get it. One of my dogs is a rescue, but the other one came from a backyard breeder. If I had know then what I know now, I probably would have made a different decision. But then I wouldn't have Bailey, so I can't really say that.
