Dh just called and told me that he is feeling horrible and that all last night he had the chills. He has a temperature of 101.1. He was coughing last night as well.

Sounds like he's getting what I had - and what A and L now have. I had a terrible headache, fever, cough, congestion. Sorry Hope it's mild.

I had a headache all Monday, yesterday evening and I woke up with one today as well and it's getting worse. But it hasn't been like a normal headache. it's been more like a dizzy headache, if that makes sense. I didn't have a temperature on Monday. I never get headaches like this.

Yes, you can have headache with flu.  However, flu usually hits you hard and fast, not with a new symptom every day or so.  Odds are your headache is related to the allergens/ash in the air plus the barometer changes.  Fingers crossed you don't get sick!!  You can take 2-4000 IUI of Vitamin D, lots of C, add some zinc (cold-eze works), and echinacea.  Pop an extra strength tylenol or 600mg IBU for the headache as well.  Have hot water with raw honey and fresh lemon (natural antibiotic/antiviral plus C).  Your DH can do the same.  (all this info is from DH's supervising pharmacist and one of his pharmacy professors at USC who is also their nutrition professor)  I ran a fever a few nights ago.  I popped the extra strength tylenol and it slightly dropped my fever, but still had a fever.  Took a 600mg IBU a bit later and that helped the headache a bit.  Popped all of the vitamins (did almost 5000 IUI of VitD) when DH got home from work... back to normal by morning.
