Please help me out, ladies.

My friend is getting married in August and her bridal shower is next Sunday.  She is registered of a Wedding Day Survival Kit from Target but I think I could make her a nicer one.  So, what would you ladies include?  Here's the link for the one she is registered for.

Re: Please help me out, ladies.

  • all of the above.

Plus chalk (in case of stains), pliers (long story short I had to sew a friend into her gown 10 minutes before her ceremony when her zipper broke. Your fingers will NOT be able to get a needle through a wedding gown), tampons and liners, chapstick/lip gloss...

  • mouthwash, safetypins
  • Duct tape!  Long story
  • Hair dryer... although that might be a tad too big to fit into a kit!  Shout wipes!!!    I got lipstick on my gown while going to the bathroom and thankgod my sister had shout wipes and a hair dryer handy!!
  • Ditto on the shout wipes (there was mud covering my dress before the ceremony from my friggin shoes, thank God I brought those!), I forgot, did it mention mini deoderant & hairspray? How about dress shoe inserts for blisters? All definite necessities. Dollar tree and Target are the best places to go for this type of thing :) (PS - great gift idea, super thoughtful!)
  • I would love something like that. I agree that you can probably make a much nicer one, with more things in it as well. My only concern with taking something from her registry and making it yourself, is someone may purchase it. Maybe you can mention it to her FI and he can remove it from the list, or buy it and return it after the wedding? That would be my worry, but besides that I think its an awesome idea!!! Ill have to send a *hint-hint* to my bridesmaids :-)

PS. I LOVE that picture of your daughter. SO cute!!!!
