Uggs not Fuggs

They are NOT meant for snow, right?

Re: Uggs not Fuggs

  • Not really but they will do if you seal them properly
  • No and not meant for rain either which I learned the hard way.
  • Seriously go to REI and check out the boots there (they have Uggs too). They have the biggest boot selection that will keep you warm and dry.
  • If they're sealed properly, I think they work in the snow for short trips outside and back. But no, I don't think they're really meant for traipsing around in the snow. I second the rec to go to REI and see what they have. Good luck dear.
  • We went to Mammoth when I was pregnant so I couldn't snowboard. I wore Uggs and jeans and sprayed water repellent. They stayed dry but I also wasn't walking miles in snow.
  • Back when I-Da-Ho, I wore them all the time in the snow and they held up great.  What they aren't good for is walking on ice.  I ate_shit so many times on the icy driveway or parking lot at work.  =/

But yes, spray that stuff on them first.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I wore my Uggs in MN last winter walking around in the snow and they held up great.  I sealed them though before hand.
  • and this is why I bought fuggs...I won't care of they get trashed in the snow!
