Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Since we left NH...
It has been a whirlwind with my little guy. He has- started crawling, says "Mama", calls for me when I leave the room, drinks from a sippy cup, drinks from a regular cup (with help!), eats (and loves!) watermelon from his mesh feeder- what a mess!!, gives hugs & kisses when you ask for them, "helps" the spoon in his mouth when you feed him, will give you the correct toy if you ask for his monkey or bear, blows raspberries when you ask him what he thinks of the Yankees (we can thank Grandma for that one, haha) and puts his arms out when he wants you to pick him up.
I feel like my little baby just left me. I am proud of all that he does, but it's sad in a way to watch him grow up so fast. : )
On the negative side, he is getting quite a temper when he runs out of patience, bit the hell out of my nipples last weekend, you can't change his diaper without a MAJOR battle that usually winds up with the diaper on the floor, pee on your hands and him trying to launch off the changing table and he now has the ability to find particles of dust on the floor invisible to the human eye that he puts in his mouth... Gotta love him!

Oh, and Jeanette, if it makes you feel any better, I was having some applesauce yesterday (organic, unsweetened) and Charlotte was very interested. ?I wasn't worried about it being allergenic at all so I gave her the tiniest little bit on the tip of my spoon and she ATTACKED it! ?Then she got mad when I wouldn't give her anymore. ?I was hoping to wait until closer to 6 months for solids but I don't think I'll be able to eat around her if that is the case.?
