Anniversary Dinner in Charleston
Hello Ladies
My husband and I are moving to the Charleston area next month and will be celebrating our second annivesary shortly after that.
We're looking for a nice place downtown for our anniversary dinner.
Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks!

Does it need to be downtown? My top two favorite restaurants for ambiance and food are The Red Drum in Mt. Pleasant on Coleman Blvd.(7 min from downtown) and Al Di La in West Ashley on Magnolia at Savannah Hwy (10 min from downtown).
The Red Drum has amazing wines, drinks, and any kind of food you can imagine. I have met the chef and know from personal experience that if it is not top notch quality he will not serve it. The crab tostaditos are an amazing appetizer with a mojito. Have the Hot Chocolate for dessert.
Al di La is an authentic northern Italian restaurant. Very cozy and romantic. Candles, dimmed lighting, amazing food. They make their own mozzarella in house as well as their own pastas. I recommend the tomato napolean as an appetizer with the smaller portion of gnocchi & shrimp for dinner with a glass of white wine. Have the tiramisu for dessert. There is no better thing!
