Old Navy's Black Friday was listed
I know a lot of you ladies are looking at the Black Friday ads early and I just saw Old Navy's ad. They are opening at 3 AM
Re: Old Navy's Black Friday was listed
3 AM...wow. That's the earliest I can think of Black Friday (at least in brick and mortar stores) starting. Has anyone ever seen a place open earlier? I think last year our first stop opened at 4:30. (Kohls, I think.)
I never have. I think mine was also Kohls which is usually 5. Toys R Us is supposed to be opening at Midnight, but I don't know if that has been confirmed by an ad or not yet.
here is the Old Navy ad

Personally, I love that stores are open on holidays. My family, and my FIs family live far enough away that we don't usually get together for holidays. It's nice that there are still places open so we can get out of the house.
They just put outwear 50% off!! Yah!!! No 3 am shopping for me!
Yes, it is soooo great that a clothing store is open on Thanksgiving. That way it gives you and the retail store workers something to do besides spend quality time with your/their family.
LOL. MANY of the retail workers who work on holidays choose to do so because they get paid double time, and in some cases, plus holiday pay. Everyone I know who works in retail tries to sign up for holiday work, and they hardly ever get to work because so many people volunteer.
If I worked in retail, I sure as shiit would volunteer to work on holidays for double time. And if retail employees don't want to work on holidays, they shouldn't take a job which requires them to be available for weekends and holidays.
Amen to that!
