Date Night Find
MH and I are having a "date night" Saturday night (first time we've done this in at least a month.) We'd kicked around some ideas, but nothing really caught our eye.
I randomly checked a performing arts center about 20 minutes south of us, knowing RENT was playing. I have no knowledge of it, but I know we LOVE that venue, and we both enjoy musicals (MH LOVES the live music aspect.)
And scored 2 tickets, orchestra level, aisle seats on the right hand side of the center section, row K (so ~12-15 rows up from the stage.) 
I normally will tell you I'm not a lucky person. Except when it comes to scoring last minute tickets for a highly sought-after event! LOL (This happened when Oz came to town as well.)

How fun! I don't think DH would ever go with to a musical. NOt that I have asked him to go but it's just something that I think he would go for my sake but not enjoy it as much
Greg kind of fought me on it too until we went to London and saw a few West End shows. He knew how excited I was to see Chicago, and then he got into it when he saw the live band. Of course, taking him to one where it was all Queen music helped. LOL Um.. We Will Rock You, it was.
I go to shows/musicals with my mom and DH has always been more than helpful to get me to her house, with never ever saying it was something he'd like to do!
Me, my mom, sister and her partner are going to see Wicked when it comes to KC this fall, I can't wait!
