Flour Power in La Mesa. They did an awesome job, and we got awesome reviews from our guests, they all loved the cake. They also have a location in La Jolla.

Yeah, we moved two months ago, but I still manage to lurk around here.
Our wedding cake was by San Diego Desserts and I loved it! They did cupcakes for us as well and it was delicious. They are located near SDSU.
I have heard great things about VG's as well.
We had cupcakes and a mini cake to cut from Sweet Cheeks Bakery. ?Sooooooo yummy! ?We don't even like cake and thought it was the best ever. ?
They use natural/organic ingredients. ??
We ordered a cake from Sweet Cheeks after someone on here recommended them and said they use all natural ingredients. Well, I can assure you the frosting on our cake was anything but natural. I asked her if it was a natural color and she said no, so they do not use all natural. Just a heads up if you don't want to be ingesting artificial colors!

Ditto this for the wedding. For my baby shower we got an Edelweiss cake and it was fabulous! My dad doesn't like cake at all but he picked it up and the smell kept tempting him... he wanted to sneak a bite right there in the car!
