We are looking for recs on places to stay in Sedona or Flagstaff?
We were planning to go to San Diego from the 26th of Dec until the 28th, but are re-thinking it and now think maybe we should go to Sedona or even Flagstaff... It's closer and we could save a little bit of money.
It'll just be Carl, William and I going so if you girls have any recs for hotels in either area or even restaurants or things to do in the winter that'd be great.
Thanks girls!

Re: Sedona or Flag?
I went to NAU so I know a bit about Flag! I like to stay at the Radisson, it is really super nice, plus my favorite restaurant, Sakura, is in the hotel. Little America is also nice but a different atmosphere. There are actually a lot of really good restaurants in Flag. Sakura is teppanyaki and sushi. If you sit at the teppanyaki table they put on a great show. I love Casa Bonita for their tortilla soup, but La Fonda and Salsa Brava are also really good Mexican restaurants. Crystal Creek is a sandwich shop that is delicious. Beaver Street Brewery is a great place to go for good food and a fun atmoshere also. And if you want a good drink go to Buster's and order a Buster Bowl (you will need two people though!), one is enough to make you tipsy!
As far as things to do, you could go up to Snowbowl, even if there is no snow its fun to ride the ski lift and then drink some hot chocolate at the lodge. The downtown area has a lot of interesting little shops to check out too. Hope this helps, let me know if you want any more suggestions!
Thanks for this information. I was looking at the Embassy Suits and did see Little America as well. I didnt think about the Radisson. I will check that one out.
As for the Snowbowl. Is that something we could do with a 16 month old? Do they allow 16 month olds on a ski lift? This is mainly going to be a relaxing get away but that sounds like it would be fun to do. Normally I hate snow, but I think Will would have fun in it if there is snow in Flag that time of year..
I would suggest actually going to the Grand Canyon. I haven't been yet, but I hear it's really beautiful in the winter. You could also take the LO to Bedrock city, it's a Finstones themed park near there:

You could also stay in Williams and do the Polar Express train. They serve hot chocolate and cookies and then the kids get to meet Santa and his Reindeer at "the North Pole". They have package deals with hotel rooms:

I think those options might be more family friendly than Sedona or Flagstaff.
Thanks Erin!!! I am going to check this stuff out now!
OMG, I totally posted this same exact comment on D&R earlier today! I want a baby so bad, just so we can go and do fun family stuff like this!!!
