Penn State
Any Penn Staters out there? DH and I are going to the Penn State v Ohio State game on Saturday. I'm a virgin to Penn State, but DH went there. (I went to a small college in NY - and totally don't understand the big football schools) Not sure what to expect, but I'm sure it will be fun.

I went to a big football school (Tennessee) and had friends who went to Penn State.
Bring layers for it will be cold, and be prepared to be engulfed by fans. It is always fun and just enjoy yourself.

J and I went to Happy Valley in 2003 to watch Ohio State play Penn State and had a blast...but that may have had something to do with the fact that we were hanging out and tailgating with J's ex-stepsister and her friends, who are all PSU alums. Either way, it was a great environment to watch a game in...Have fun!
ps-There's a bar near campus that serves individual pitchers of Long Islands. I can't remember the name of the bar, but watch out for it-those Long Islands are killer!
I'm a Penn Stater! I liked it so much that I spent 5 years there. I'm so excited for you (and slightly envious) that you're going to a game. It is one of my favorite things to do. Granted, I'm somewhat biased. Dress warm and don't forget to check if it is a White Out, I bet it will be vs. OSU.

The Saloon. They also serve individual pitchers of "Monkey Boy". My favorite flavor is grape with extra cherries on top. Now that I'm "old" I would probably split the pitcher with DH. Monkey Boys are always to be drunk out of the pitcher, never in a cup!
