Ok, so now on to full NFL concentration

Where I am long suffering Dolphins fan.  It all evens out in the end, doesn't it??

Re: Ok, so now on to full NFL concentration

  • Again, I grew up in Cincinnati so I am a Bengals fan.  DH is a die-hard Bills fan.  Oh yeah, it evens out in the end.
  • Oh, the Bills...that poor man.  He isn't  Cubs fan too is he?

Nope, just the Yankees.  And since he's met me he genuinely cheers for the Reds.

  • ah I am trying to get more into Football, I still cannot watch it from morning until night like DH can on Sunday, I do love the Saints though

DH will not even go to my soccer games on Sundays bc of Sunday football, he has to monitor his fantasy teams haha

I know in past years the Dolphins have had a great record but thanks to Ace Ventura all I think about is Snowflake...

  • YAY!!!

I have someone else to suffer with me know :)

I just want to see a Superbowl in my life time.....I know that's asking for a lot, but it hasn't happend yet......and I'm thinking it's not going to be this year.

So far I'm loving Chad Henne, and the best thing I did was add Ted Ginn Jr to my FF team :)

  • i am a die hard cowboys fan married to a die hard eagles fan. lol this sunday should be justt lovely! GO COWBOYS! =D! lol?

Hey - what's wrong with the Bills?! We are still 3-5. TO said there's still hope for the playoffs this year and I agree ;-)

  • Go Vikings!

I also really like Denver, although I liked Cutler more than I like Orton.

Ha ha ha ha ha! TO is a fool!  Go Dolphins! : )

Ha ha ha ha ha! TO is a fool!

This is true.  Wait until he d!cks your team over, too.  TO cares about 1 thing, and it's definitely not his team.  Good luck with that!

  • hahahah! thanks ladiesss! NOT! lol funny story.. DH bought me an eagles shirt that i HAVE to wear every time they play or I have to watch the game from the front porch. he's superstitious and thinks that if i wear cowboys stuff the eagles will lose. lol so, every sunday, i put on that damn eagles shirt and pretend that i love it so i can sit on the couch and watch the game in the heat. haha?

Meh, his presence alone sold a bunch of season tickets.  In that regard he has helped the team exponentially.

  • i agree! i can't stand his showboatin ass! lol?

At first I thought you were talking about Eagles season tickets!  TO's a talented athlete, no doubt, but he needs to learn some humility.  He's much better suited for a career as a standalone athlete, rather than a team player.

I never said I was a "fan" of TO, but he has done a lot for the city -both on and off the field. People are once again excited for football - well, they were before, but it puts a spark in fans. And don't worry, he gets booed when he drops the ball haha. He hasn't shown any of his previous "issues" here - at all. So many people are just waiting for TO to crack, which very well could happen, but so far he's been watching what he says. Yes, he may drop balls here and there, but I never hear anyone give him credit for his blocking abilities - which I've been very impressed by! I don't think he'll be here next year, but he has done a lot for this area.

True dat.  He's the sole reason DH re-bought his season tickets.  He was very adamant about never wasting another cent on the Bills until the day that they signed TO.  Coincidentally, he repurchased his tickets that very day.  As did the people who sit behind us.  And the people who sit next to us.

Wow, very nice. Well, I'm glad he's doing SOMETHING for you guys. Maybe he's growing up and getting over his asshat ways. BTW did you ever watch the TO Show?

How?  Cutler was the most whiney, selfish brat.  If someone didn't catch a pass it was their fault (even if he threw it to the other team or into 4 guys of coverage).  Orton, on the other hand, takes the blame and gives credit where its due.  He's so MUCH more of a team player than Cutler is!

    And GO BRONCOS!!!

I'm not a Bills fan...I'm hoping he never comes to Miami.

I tried.  It was painful to watch.  I stopped.

True, I totally dislike that he was a crybaby, especially in the end when he demanded a trade.  But I don't get to see all of the Broncos games since they usually don't show them in MN... Maybe that's why I liked Cutler.  My distaste for Orton is because he came from the Bears, it's just hard to get over that Bears hate. (And now that Cutler is in Chicago he can lose every Sunday for all I care!)
