Have you ever seen this in addition to outdoor lighting? I've seen it with a wreath hanging from the ribbon but what about a bow?
I can't seem to find a single picture online - so if you know what I'm talking about and find one, will you post it?
Otherwise, have you ever seen this and do you think it looks good?
Re: Red Ribbon on windows?
My mom does that every year. She has the ribbons & bows already made from years ago and they are held together with floral wire and then she just puffs them out each year when she hangs them. She also has a candle in the windows. Down the banister on the stairs she has red ribbon with garland together.
My mom does not do lights on the house or inside except on the Christmas tree. The house was built in 1907 and in a historic district. She tries to keep them simple to go with the period.
I will see if I can find a picture of my house at the holidays and post. It has been years since I have been there for the holidays so it may be difficult. It does look good btw. I always loved it.
