I know where most of you like (okay, that sounded spooky) but am curious what you consider your home town. I want to see how many others are SC natives, and who is a transplant
Re: Home town poll
Whops - I forgot to post about me...
Evergreen CO is my home town. I've been in SC for a year now
I was born in Charleston, SC. Lived in TN for 11 years and NC for 10 I've been back in SC-Greenville for about a year.
Eventhough I only lived there for a few years when I was younger, I consider Charleston/Kiawah Island, SC to be my hometown.
Have a great evening!!
Oh wow, you did move around a lot!
SC all my life.
Lived in Easley until after highschool. Then in Spartanburg. Then to Greer. then back to Easley then to Piedmont.
west bend, wisconsin til age 10
midlothian, va (richmond suburb) til senior year highschool
king, nc 1 year before college (parents still there)
raleigh, nc for 6 years for college
charleston, sc for 1 year with my husband
wisconsin is still my hometown. i still go back about once a year to see my family-all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. i've been in the south so long i feel weird saying i'm from wisconsin anymore.
March 2011 moved to WA from Charleston, SC
live in Mill Creek, work in Seattle, DH works in Mt Vernon
Born and raised in Rockford IL.
Lived in Columbia for 5 years, and feel like it's my "home town". I never fit in Rockford even though I grew up there and it's where my family is.
Living in Chicago now and it's tied for Columbia as my favorite place. They might seem different on the surface but actually share a lot of traits that I admire in a city.
I consider my hometown York, SC, but now I live in Union,SC.
I can't wait to move back "home" in a few years.
