what do you think??

Soooo.....I've always loved cooking and baking and would like to take the next step into making my dreams of opening a bakery a reality. I was thinking about just selling stuff out of my house through word of mouth, but I really don't know how well that would work.

Does anyone have any knowledge of opening up a shop or starting a business? I'm thinking of opening up a cupcake shop and selling other items like cookies, muffins, sweet breads, coffee.....

Thanks so much for any tips! :-)

  • I do know that if you want to start a business (not sure on exact technicalities) and be licensed, you need to bake the goods out of one of those kitchens you can rent by the hour.  It has to be a kitchen that is certified and inspected.  If you are just going to sell to friends and not have it as an actual business then you can bake it at home.
