Did you go TV shopping? I thought of you when I got bored this afternoon and took DH shopping to compare TVs... We ended up buying one today instead of waiting for Black Friday because we got an amazing deal. If you haven't convinced your H yet, keep working on it... I didnt think it would be a big deal but it really is a huge difference. We saw some great deals on really good brands too. Check out the blog for details

I didn't go out yesterday. My current plan now is to wait for some potential money to come through and then keep my eyes open for a non Black Friday deal or post-Christmas sales.

Mames - another thing to think about, if you guys don't get the TV before Christmas...they always offer deals on TVs right before the superbowl. That's when I got mine for 36 months no interest.
Also...another thing that I didn't realize until we bought Ryan's parents a new TV for a very early Christmas present when we were up there - go to HH Gregg and be aware of all financing options and prices at places like Best Buy, Costco, etc - and HH Gregg will actually negotiate with you! They dropped the price of the TV we got for Ry's parents by like $200 or so.
