So happy to be home!
We came home yesterday, and I am feeling better. Emma is sleeping, and I should be too, but just wanted to check in quickly.
I gained 35 pounds total during pregnancy and as of this morning, I have 15 pounds to lose......well, I was chubby to begin with so another 30 would be nice
Emma is feeding well and my already humungo hooters are now porn star size.....I may tip over from the imbalance.
I will post a birth story soon....I never dreamed I would have needed a c-section.....that was something that happened to other moms, not me! Oh well! I may have a sore incision site and feel a little worse, but at least I don't have the monster bleeding associated with a typical delivery!

Anyway, I'm glad you are home and that you both are doing good. She is just beautiful! I am suprised how perfect her skin is for being a newborn! I was suprised at how big she was! I am suprised your doctor let you go with her being that big...

You girls crack me up!!! My friend said hers turned into torpedos when she started nursing and that's what this conversation reminds me of!
On a serious note, Ellen I'm glad to hear you're doing well and that you're home. It will be so nice to get some kind of normalcy going. Congrats again on your beautiful baby girl.
