GTG Question

Hey Ladies!

Where is the GTG going to be??  Its at 10:30am on the 15th, right?

I'm excited to meet everyone!

Re: GTG Question

  • Honestly, I can't decide!  I had some ideas, let me know what you think.

    1.  Cracked Egg--great breakfast joint on Rainbow and 215, centrally located.  Average price of entrees $8-12.  Can be a wait to get in.

    2.  Bellini Brunch at Silverton-- decent food, all you can eat Bellinis, a little pricey at $16 ($18 if you don't want to sign up for a player's card).  Can be a wait to get in.

    3.  Paris Brunch-  $14-16 without drinks included, great food, but it's on the strip, so you have to deal with that.

    4.  Town Square--Brio or someplace for an early lunch?

  • I vote for Cracked Egg- or Town Square for an early lunch.

LOVE Paris brunch, but isnt there usually a long line?

  • I vote for Cracked Egg (i live in the summerlin area)

Also a really good breakfast/lunch place is Jamms off on Rainbow and Charleston. Its a little more on the busy side so we might want to call and set up a reservation. I would say its good price like cracked egg.

Their bread in a pot is awesome

Also I hear Cocos is great too. They have pumpkin bread

  • Yea Mimi's is really good too- they have one at 215 and Rainbow and Rampart and Charleston - that may be a good spot for most people.

  • I like Jamms, too.  OK, so here are the choices that I think we've narrowed it down to:

    Cracked Egg  (215 and Rainbow)

    Jamms (Rainbow and Charleston)

Mimis (two locations--Rainbow and 215 and another--can't remember)

Is the 215 convenient for everyone?  PrincessShay I know we live in the same neighborhood and anything off of the 215 works for us.

Anything on west side is convenient for me :)

  • Off the 215 works for me!  Any of those sound like good options, I haven't been to any of them, so I'm no help!  Sorry!
  • Anything off the 215 is good for me, I'm in Summerlin. All of these places are new to me, so I'll leave the decision up to y'all. REALLY hoping to make it, my in-laws are still trying to decide if they're coming out to visit this weekend, so if they're not here, I'll be with you guys. :o)

  • My vote is for Cracked Egg or Jamms. Both places I have not been to. :)

I don't live in the same area as any of you, so the 215 is fine. Haha!

  • Im good with anything around the 215 area- even Summerlin isnt a big deal for me.

  • I say we do Cracked Egg.  That seems to be the easiest for everyone to get to.

Now for the time.  It can get rather busy there, so we may have to wait regardless of what time we go.  How is 10am as a meeting time?

  • 10am sounds good- we may miss some of the rush because people that go to church at 11 wont be there yet.

  • 10 works for me. ;o)

  • Yup the 215 is perfect and easy!  I have never been to the Cracked Egg so that sounds good too!  It's in that Plaza with a Starbucks and a bank or something right?  As for time I could probably get there around 10. :)

  • OK, we should probably pick a place to meet or have something to identify ourselves as nesties.  I've met RSP before and I think helzer is coming, but I don't think I know anyone else.  Any suggestions on ways for us to find one another?  Should we just get a table under the name "nest" and everyone can come over when they arrive?

  • Nest works for me. I haven't met anyone so I am only going off what your photos look like.

Maybe we should all know eachother's real first names.

    Im Shannon
