Man, i hope this week goes by fast!! ![]()
Fri; had the day off for my birthday!! Went shopping with my friend who came to visit from Phoenix, had lunch at a Greek restaurant, went home, got ready for my bday dinner but went and got our nails done first. Had a super yummy dinner at Rock Center Cafe and then went to Flute for some champagne!
Sat; cleaned and relaxed before my party!! It was fun and there was tons of food!
Sun; brunch in BK with my friend, DH and another friend of ours. Went shopping in the city with my friend and i got an *awesome* leather jacket by Michael Kors at Century 21!! I've been wanting a leather jacket for about 2yrs now and i got enough bday money this year and DH highly encouraged me to get one...so i did! Wish i could wear it today but it's not cold enough outside. Then we headed home and had cheese fondue for dinner, then chocolate fondue for dessert and watched the movie House Bunny.
My friend left this morning and i'm sad but it was such a good weekend! And now we have the Ray LaMontagne concert tonight!! ![]()
Re: How was your weekend?
Sounds like a great Birthday weekend!!
Friday night we stayed in. I was exhausted for some reason!
Saturday, a friend of mine from OH was in town, so I went out with her and her friends. We had dinner, then saw Rock of Ages (fun!!) and ended up at the Gansevoort bar until...uh....late.
Yesterday, just relaxed and recovered and watched some football!

my weekend was good - very low key, which is what we need because we're in massachusetts next weekend and d.c. for thanksgiving.?
friday: laundry and hanging out on the couch
saturday: cleaned up the kitchen in the morning and then spent the afternoon walking around the city (from 60th & park down to the west village), had some sangria & app type stuff at oro bakery & bar in soho
sunday: slept in, walked around fo hi, grocery shopping and lots of football. the pats game was on here so that made me happy
made an awesome roast chicken and crash hot potatoes for dinner.
so not ready to be back at work *sigh*?
Glad you had fun Meggie! And I am with you that this day flies by!!
My weekend ended up being better than I imagined.
Friday: stayed home watching TV and getting an early rest
Sat: DH and I had brunch at our usual Trinidadian restaurant, then our usual Home Depot trek. I then attended a former coworker's son's birthday party. Was fun.
Sun: DH worked so I ran some errands, and then tackled painting the porch (the first paint was the wrong paint)
. I didnt finish because I had to head to Steinway to meet up with a gal pal. We had dinner at Uno (tasty) and caught a movie, the Fourth Kind, which was just ok.
Have a good Monday, all!

Mine was exhausting!! 20 hours of yoga teacher training, but it was awesome. I loved every second of it, even though I am sore from head to toe right now.
I had a housewarming party on Saturday night, but I was so exhausted that I could only stay for an hour because I was falling asleep.
