This is definitely something stupid to be mad over, but still pretty funny. If you ladies remember metalking about a friend that got completely hammered at my bach party, leaving early at my wedding, etc, this is the girl I am talking about.

Anyway, she is getting married NYE this year. (I've mentioned it before I think that I was pretty sure I wasn't going to the wedding). I get her invitation over the weekend and it's pretty much an exact replica of mine, except with different colors. Now, I should be flattered since mimictry is the best form of flattery, but I am still annoyed. A few of our common friends have emailed/texted me commenting how her invitations looked a bit 'familiar.'

The best part about it: there were 2 pretty obvious spelling / grammar errors on the invitations. Oops!

Ha, I would feel the same way. What were the errors?

I put my decline in the mail this morning. She spelled H'ors D'oeuovres wrong and in the 'accept / decline ' she wasn't consistent with the tenses of the words.

 Also, she wrote on the invitation 'adult only reception' TACKY.

I would be flattered as well but it would still kind of annoy me too.  I would feel better about the fact that several friends noticed that she copied your invites, and the errors so yours was obviously better.

Even though I know I should be flattered, I would be PISSSSSSSED that she wasn't creative enough to come up with her own. At least everyone knows it was your idea first!
