I'm making a flourless chocolate cake.
It's ridiculously easy, yet people think it's incredibly fancy and hard to make.
My mom makes a pumpkin cheese cake. Its good if you want something a little different but want to stick with pumpkin.
Pumpkin Spice Cake - super duper easy and really good. Instead of the stuff they have sprinkled on the cake I drizzle caramel all over

we have a large thanksgiving, so we always have several desserts to choose from:
pumpkin pie, apple pie, cherry pie, pecan pie and pumpkin muffins
Flourless Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
Directions
Preheat oven to 375?F and butter an 8-inch round baking pan (I prefer a springform pan, lined with buttered parchment paper). Line bottom with a round of wax paper and butter paper.
Chop chocolate into small pieces. In a double boiler or metal bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water melt chocolate with butter, stirring, until smooth.
Remove top of double boiler or bowl from heat and whisk sugar into chocolate mixture.
Add eggs and whisk well. Sift 1/2 cup cocoa powder over chocolate mixture and whisk until just combined.
Pour batter into pan and bake in middle of oven 25 minutes, or until top has formed a thin crust.
Cool cake in pan on a rack 5 minutes and invert onto a serving plate.
Dust cake with additional cocoa powder.
BEAT Neufchatel cheese, 1 Tbsp. milk and sugar in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in whipped topping. Spread onto bottom of crust.
POUR 1 cup milk into medium bowl. Add pumpkin, pudding mix and spices. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. (Mixture will be thick.) Spread over Neufchatel layer.
REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until set. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
On our Thanksgiving site, there is a great recipe for Easy Pear Galette. Why not try it out for likes?
Easy Pear Galette
1. Unfold a refrigerated 9-inch pie crust onto a pizza pan.
2. Brush with melted Lucerne Sweet Cream Butter.
3. Leaving a 2-inch border, cover generously with peeled, cored, sliced Concorde pears.
4. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar to taste.
5. Fold pastry to make a 1 1/2-inch border.
6. Bake in a 375? oven until well browned, about 45 minutes.
