Where do you all shop for nice dresses?
I'm looking for a dress for a good friends upcoming wedding. I want to get something really pretty/trendy/elegant/comfortable. I dont know why but I am finding it harder and harder to find nice coctail dresses for occasions. Then again, I keep looking only at Macys and Nordstrom.

White House, Black Market have been getting a ton more "fancy" dresses. Surprisingly, TJMaxx and Marshalls are also great places to search, especially if you have time. I've seen some awesome dresses there at amazing prices.
Bloomingdales also has spectacular dresses.

I saw some beautiful dress in Ross and Marshalls. They start to sell them around this time for the Holidays.
Also try David's bridal. They have a whole section of cocktail dress attire that doesn't look like bm dresses.

Lately I've been finding the prettiest cocktail dresses at Banana Republic. If you go to the one in Aventura, they have the "BR" label there (I think that's what it's called), which seems to have more fancy dresses. The dress in my siggy is from BR and I got this one there too:
I love going to Macy's too, they have some really pretty ones. White House Black Market has some pretty ones too. HTH!
I have to agree with Johana and Jackie...Marshalls, Ross, T.J. Maxx!!!!
I actually found 3 Calvin Klein dresses and I believe is was ross for about $30.00 each and I also found some really hott Jessica Simpson shoes for $20.00 you can beat those prices

I never have luck at tj max and marshalls for dresses

Im def going to check out BR! My cousin told me this the other day too! Yayy now im excited again.
Almost all my cocktail dresses are from Banana Republic, love them! If I can't find a dress somewhere else, I go there I usually find something.
I also have a lot of luck at White House Black Market.
Besides that I go to Macys, Dillards, and sometimes Ross. I haven't had luck at Macys in a while though...
