Need a family game

I want to bring a board game to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving.  It will be a gift for his 8 & 10 yr old grand daughters so I need something that they can play along with adults.

The board game Sorry is fun for that age range.  Plus, it allows multiple people to play.

I love Uno! My hubby and I play it all the time. haha.

Is that easy enough for that age range? Color to color and number to number. Or Jenga is a great fun game you could all play.

 On a side note, a great adult game is Ahole and Apples to Apples. We love games in this house!

Uno or Sorry would be great.  I bet they are old enough for Life and Monopoly too.  I would suggest asking the parents if they already have that game.  Kids/families accumulate games.

You know, they probably already have every game and toy known to man if they're like most kids.  You could be the cool cousin if you just arrived and chatted with the kids and asked them where their games are and then actually played with them after dinner.  Showing interest can be a big gift for kids.

I used to play monopoly a lot when I was that age and I still love playing it. I think Twister would also be hilarious! Kids love to see their parents, aunts and uncles in awkward positions.

There is an Apples to Apples Jr. that DH and I love to play w/kids that is not so overly simplified that you want to tear your eyes out. We also play the "sour apples" version where we try to come up with the noun that LEAST matches the verb. There are a lot of laughs that arise from this game, I HIGHLY recommend it!
