Rec your digital camera please- under $200

I am looking for one that is point and shoot, but allows lots of natural light into the picture. We have lost our camera. I hate using a flash and feel like the lighting never looks natural, so I would like one that I can use the flash at a minimum.

  • We have an Olympus Fe340.  Its an older model but I got it for 179 when it was on sale at Best Buy.  DH is always impressed with the quality of pictures that come off of it.
  • Canon SD780 - it was $215 on Amazon in September, so you may be able to find it cheaper. It's a great camera w/ lots of features, yet it's tiny!
  • I have the Canon SD790 IS and it is fantastic!  It's a bit above your price range, last time I checked, but it's completely worth it.  You will never purchase another point and shoot.

  • I also agree with Canon. I got my Canon point and shoot about 3 almost 4 years ago and it's still holding up perfectly. Very easy to use and still has many features to play around with.
