When do you send out your holiday cards?

This is the first year I'm sending out holiday cards and I'm wondering when most people send theirs.

I usually send mine out by December 15th.

I'm planning on sending mine the second weekend of december (I figure I don't want to do it TOO close to christmas because right after christmas a lot of people throw them out...I want to give mine some shelf life!

I usually do mine around the 10th.  Everything takes longer to mail during December, so I want to allow a few extra days for them to get there before the week of Christmas.

i'm really hoping to start getting them out right after thanksgiving.  it really just depends on how long it takes for me to make them.

We usually send them out anywhere between 3-2 weeks before christmas depending on how busy we are.

We send the over seas cards Dec 1st, and local ones the 2nd week of Dec.

I tend to send mine pretty early.  I get really excited about Christmas, and start writing them out soon after Thanksgiving.  I thnk they were all out in the first week of Dec last year.

Also I really like to display the cards I receive every year, so I prefer to receive them earlier .

We usually send ours out in early December but it depends on if we need to get a certain photo or something. For example, this year we're going to the Christmas Story house in Cleveland so we figured we'd take a cool pic there and put it on our card.
