WELL GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES.. HOW IS ALL TODAY??.. WELL I MADE AN APT. WITH THE FERTILITY INSTITUE AND NOW I JUST GOT TO WAIT FOR MY APT. LOL THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE RECS ON THE DOCTORS THE OTHER DAY. DO ANY OF YOU HAVE CYGNA INSURANCE? OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES?
Re: GOOD AFTERNOON
me too
IS IT GOOD INSURANCE? MY HUSBANDS OFFICE JUST STARTED OFFERING IT AND JUST WONDERING IF ITS THAT EXPENSIVE OR WHAT THE DEAL IS WITH IT? DOES IT OFFER INFERTILITY OR I GUESS WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT IT?
I am not currently a fan of Cigna. When I had my miscarriage we went to the hospital and they billed the insurance company. Cigna paid all the ER stuff and lab work, but I'm left with a $396 doctor's bill. I currently have this pending for review. Also they didn't pay two doctor's bills last year and we did, even though I appealed that decision. Last month I got a letter from Cigna stating that they should have paid it and we'll be getting a refund. We'll see how that works.
well, i dontpay any copays or for any medicine. i havent had anything major done so i am not sure. and i have no experience with anything related to infertility. if i am not mistaken, i do not think any insurance really covers that.
my friends T and M did some Infertility treatments for about 6 months and they were out 2500.00 per month. insurance did not cover any of it.
I have seen a list somewhere of companies that offer coverage for infertility treatments....you could try googling it. It totally depends on your company and insurance plan. Also, you can call your insurance company and they can tell you exactly what your benefits are for that. Sometimes they will at least cover the initial testing you have to go through.
We went through infertility treatments as well. We were very grateful to have insurance coverage for most of ours.
Hope your appointment goes well. let me know if you have any questions or if I can help at all. good luck!
