Hey I thought I would be late to the party on this one but I guess everyone has been busy today. So I will start.
No question for today but feel free to update.
Ella has a cold...nothing really bad just snotty eating small meals close together.
We had a doctor's appointment today which was good timing. Her lungs sounded fine so we just have to watch and make sure she doesn't have any problems with breathing. She was weighed and is now 10 lb 7.5 oz! and in the 3rd percentile for weight. She is only 21 inches long though (my little stubby girl!).
She got three vaccines (2 shots and 1 oral) and did great. It is funny since she has so many procedures and ivs and injections in her 4 short months the shots don't really face Ella or S and I she cried for a minute and then was totally fine. She has been a crank all afternoon though. I have just been able to put her down for the first time a little while ago. She is a little hot but her doctor doesn't want to give her tylenol unless she get a fever. There is a new study that shows that tylenol seems to reduce immune response to the vaccines making them less effective. If she gets any warmer (she is 99.1) I am going to give it to her though.
We also found out that she wants Ella to sleep in our room until RSV season is over so that we can more closely monitor her respiration.
I hope all is well with everyone else!
Re: PCP/TTC/ATP Wednesday
I'm so glad Ella is doing well and handled her shots so well!
Our big new is that PBS walked last night! She has taken a step or two here and there but she walked across a whole room. I am so proud of her.
LMC has also made some great progress with her speech. She was so far behind but is picking up on all kinds of words now. She said airplane, applesauce, all done and happy face this week. That is huge considering her motor delays. Yay LMC!
Tomorrow LMC has to go to her visit without us for the first time and I am so worried. I am hoping she will understand that she is coming back to us and doesn't feel rejected or abandoned.
I hope everyone else is doing well.
That Ella is such a cutie!
I was doula for my best friend last week, and being at the birth was amazing. And now my baby fever is through the roof.
It was also the first time I've ever seen Holly with a baby, and it was so sweet it totally made me melt. Can't wait until we have one of our own. I asked for one for Christmas and she just laughed since it would be too soon. But maybe I can ask for a Christmas BFP?
We are in the last stages of picking a donor, and all our sperm bank paperwork is done and our account opened. We're looking at our first insemination around Dec 5th. Nervous and excited all at once.
We're been making the most of the day off today, but I'm glad to see this thread. It's 11dpo and I'm just waiting to know one way or another how this cycle will end. I think AF is right around the corner, but there are a couple signs that are giving me some hope. I'll know something by this weekend.
I think I spoke too soon. Ella got a fever last night and we had to give her the tylenol but it went down with it so no worries.
She is also a little off on eating but still eating every 3 hours just not as much. I will try to push for more feedings today
Hunter awesome about the walking! It is great to see her doing to well. I am shure that lms will do fine on the visit. When she comes home then she will know that she is coming back. She is so lucky to have you guys. Keep up the good work.
Good luck Joy I hope you get your bfp
Hope Ella's feeling better soon!
Nothing new here really. Just plugging along. Growing. Still getting sick. Getting anxious for the big u/s (sometime next month).

So I am a day late on this but I just wanted to say how happy I am for you Duchess that both your girls are thriving with you. I hope they get to be your forever girls with all my heart.
Hope Ella gets over her sniffles soon.
Annie is doing well. We went shopping at the outlet mall in PA yesterday and she was a smiley girl hanging in her Ergo all day. She has started solids now and is eating like a champ. She wants everything we eat now. She watches us and makes smacking sounds til we share. It is really cute.

Things are staus quo in our house. Carter seems to be over his nightly cough that required homeopathic cough medicine every 2 hours so he could (somewhat) sleep. Grayson has gone 2 days without an accident (after regressing BIG TIME in his potty training.) Both are going to bed easily around 7:30 - which is wonderful. It stinks that it has been raining for 2 days straight (and supposed to again tomorrow) so the kids can't go to the playground during school (they really need to burn off that energy!)
I'm a day late.....nothing huge here. I have an appt this afternoon to get the flu shot but I still don't know if I'm going to get it. I also signed up for an H1N1 clinic on Sunday but again I'm not certain on that either. I'm just so torn. Ugh.
