As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Moving to Southern OK--anyone live north of Dallas?
Hi--my husband, son, and I are moving to Durant, OK in January from Massachusetts. Before everyone freaks out, I grew up in rural Alaska so I'm used to rural life (though not the heat!) We did fly out and visit a bit in August, so I know there's not much there, but it seems like it may be growing a bit.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself (I've been lurking a bit since we decided to move) and see if anyone lived up near Sherman/Denison or around there, and what are some recommendations for places to see/things to do, etc. Thanks!

It is very close to Sherman,TX and there are more restaurants and shopping there.
