  • Great list! Every time I kept thinking of things to add, I would scroll down and you had it. She will love it. The ONLY thing I could think of is a disposable camera. Sometimes in the midst of things, you forget yours, and the getting ready are some of the best pics, just a thought.
  • Ooh, good call.  I actually have a bunch from our wedding that we forgot to use.  I'll add one.  Thanks!

  • Holy CRAP girl, where were you when I was creating my bathroom basket??? The only thing i'd do, is put it in an embroidered bag (maybe in her wedding colors??) with her new monogram!! OH, and buy the survival kit (then return it) so it's taken off her registry. That'd stink if you "outshined" someone else who was buying it for her. GREAT JOB!!!
  • The only thing I would add would be a contact case to go with the solution. Sometimes my contacts bother me really bad and I have to let them just sit in the solution for a few minutes.

You are such a great friend to put this together. I didn't think of half the stuff on your list. She will love it.

Thanks!  Unfortunately, there isn't enough time to get the bag monogrammed and whatnot (besides, her initials aren't changing) so I had to go with what they had on hand at LL Bean.  Oh, and I already got her fiance to remove the original kit from her registry so there should not be any duplicates.  Plus it was an online only item so at this point no one else would have any time to get it here before the shower.  Smile

Ooh, thanks.  I'll run out and get one just to be safe.

  • I'm telling you, pliers, the needle in the sewing kit is going to be hard to get through the layers on a wedding dress near the zipper if the worst happens. Trust me. I had punctured palms to prove it. And the last thing you want to do is bleed on the bride. You can always pull them back out at the end of the day and take it home.
  • I'll make sure I bring pliers the day of but I don't think I'm going to include them in the bag.  Thanks for the recommendation though.  How are you feeling?

  • Oh, and on a side note, I would include THIS LIST of everything that's in there, so she doesn't have to thumb through EVERYTHING to find out if "x" is included, should she need something in a pinch. (Although, judging from your list, it seems like if she'd need anything at all it'd be in that bag which must be bursting at the seams!)
