Hi! We moved here Sept 06. I had lived in San Diego (North County) my whole life, other than college, so it has been QUITE an adjustment weather wise!! We moved out here bc my DH was originally from here and came back here for school. But now he is done and we are free and looking to head back out west... probably Northern Arizona though. I'd love to go back to SD but it is just so expensive. I miss my family so much though.
Anyway, I am liking it here better now that it is summer.
It's a beautiful place. I love all the parks and lakes. I just really hate winter, it was snowing on Easter this year!! I'm actually heading back to San Diego this afternoon for a visit and am SO excited!

i originally had just SD, but i wanted my hometown also. so i just combined it. happy to share.
do i miss mn? i miss my house, friends & family. mh misses the crazy a$$ thunderstorms! i don't miss the snow yet, i know i will someday. we heard all about the easter snow! when we went home for christmas, we remembered why we moved from the tundra! i agree w/ you, the lake & parks are gorgeous! we lived by lake gervais & would bike there a lot during the summer.
we loooove SD! wonderful city & so much to do/explore! however, we don't care too much about apartment living again! can't wait until we're able to buy here.
