Have you tried Kogi? What did you think?
Last night mH and I made a run at 11:30 to try it.
It was overrated IMO. Can someone explain why it's such a big deal?
Re: Have you tried Kogi? What did you think?
I also thought it was overrated.
The big deal is that it's suppoused to be an organic and gourmet asian/mexican fusion truck no? It was aaaiiiggghht. I wouldn't stand in that line again though.
yep, that's the one.
I get the concept but the food was just OKKKKKAY.
My friend goes religiously on Fridays when they are in DTLA. I just don't get why people would wait for hours. Glad I'm not the only one!
I thought about going late last night, now I'm glad I stayed in my PJs at home
I've been on the fence about getting tacos from a roach coach. **Not too many good experiences from what I can remember if its cooked on a truck.**
I won't go stand in line for a ridiculous amount of time in LA, but since they are here now in the OC...maybe I'll go at the 630pm truck. From what I heard the burritos are horrible, but the black-jack quesadillas are out of this world. I rather eat at Chiptole if I'm craving tacos that bad though.
So not the place I would think of for Tacos. It's all about Tacos Mexico.. .<drool>
Oooo!!!!!!! I love Taqueira de Anda! I didn't know anyone else knew of it. My brother introduced me to it. The BEST carne asada tacos. YUM. I'm a little scared to go there without a fluent spanish speaking person though.
Cat - how do I not know of this place? It's close to my house... let's do it! Have you tried that sushi place yet? We need to meet up. My little bro literally lives above Back Alley now so I am in that area all the time.
LYB - My little bro loves Taqueria de Anda too. It's definitely kinda scary ordering, but I like to live dangerously. A little diarrhea never hurt anyone.
