gynecologist rec?

i know that's kind-of a weird rec..but i'm due for my yearly anddd being new here i have NO clue where to even begin looking. i'd ask my pcp for a rec, but i haven't found a pcp yet (although i want to try out jeff&em's naturopath rec).

so...any recs? i thought i'd ask here before looking around online

Do you have insurance?  Dr Sharrell Carlton at Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City is GREAT.  My other rec's are all Kaiser OB's...let me know if you want them!

i do - i have aetna through DH's school....so i'm assuming if they're kaiser OB's they won't work with my insurance? if you think they might, sure give me to me! if not, thanks for the rec in oregon city

Dr. Wood did mine.  I've never been to an OB, I always just have my PCP take care of it for me.  :-p

ohhhhhh awesome! i didn't realize she could do it i'm totally calling next week to schedule an appt. YAY! she's covered by my insurance, too

Just be careful!  She did my pap first, and then started in on the general checkup.  She accidentally hit the light and shut it out.  Seeing as how I'm super claustrophobic and afraid of the dark, I kind of freaked out.  And then she teased me about my heart racing.    Seriously, she's really cool; she even has two pibbles.  : )
