Yeah, i was about the same.  I like the idea of inclusion and having it there in case anyone wants to use it.  I dont see myself using it because, frankly, i dont feel like a newlywed nor have I for a while.

I do wish they'd get on the ball with a foster parent badge, though.

Maybe I have been around here too long when really none of them fit me. Been married for 6.5 years (good grief) and my kids are old in comparison to others. The only one I saw that fit was 'Mommy of Multiples."

 But they are cute.

It was a nice thought. We are past the newlywed phase so I won't use it.

The moderators were told these would be coming out.  The day they were posted I asked them to change the badge to "households" to reflect our board better.  I was told the change would take a few days but it would happen and the Nest G-ds thought it made perfect sense to change it.

Funny how we are mostly a board of "old married ladies" around here. I haven't felt like a newly wed for a long time.

Ditto - not into the whole "newlywed" thing.  And I did notice the lack of foster parent bages.  I mean, "pet parent" but no foster parent?? Sheesh!

yeah, i probably still wouldn't use it even if they change it--i'm not big on using badges in general and mostly only lurk on other boards so it's not really necessary--but it makes more sense to have it say households. that is the name of the board, after all, and most of us have been around well past the newlywed stage. we're old married ladies now!
