Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone have a HTC Droid Eris?
I just got one yesterday and am fiddling with it. I've never had a smart phone before so it's taking me some time to adjust. If you have any tips or advice, I would appreciate them.

Re: Anyone have a HTC Droid Eris?
We have a MyTouch, which uses the same Android OS as the Eris. The only advice I have is to just keep fiddling with it.
Here are a few things that might not be obvious though.
- To put an app shortcut on your desktop, flip to the screen you want it to be on, bring up the app list (from the bottom of the screen), then touch and hold the app you want. The list will go away and you can drop the app on the desktop where you want it.
- If you want to add a folder or widget to your desktop, touch and hold on the desktop you want it on. A small menu will come up listing what you can put there.
- Don't forget you can drag down the notifications bar (at the top) for a more complete listing of the notifications you have.
