Anyone else...

Lose your DH to the new Call of Duty that just came out?  Yup...I haven't been an Xbox widow for a long time, but suddenly I am again.

I do think it's funny though - our goal is to clean the place tonight as we have friends coming from OOT tomorrow.  He's playing right now, but has already gone through the whole list of things he wants to get done tonight...I know he'll help with the cleaning, I'm just a little worried about the quality!!

Re: Anyone else...

  • Not yet, but only because he hasn't been able to find it in stores. It's sold out everywhere. We have a PS3 in our living room and he wants to get COD for the PS3 so that he can play it on the big TV. We also have an Xbox 360 in his Man-tuary (aka garage). I'm planning to run off and buy the game on Xbox 360 before he buys it on PS3. He's crazy if he thinks I'm giving up my livingroom for the game if he can play it in the garage!
  • Oh Chrissy you are too smart!  Definitely get it for the 360!!  No need to lose your big TV...that's what I have to do as we don't have a mantuary yet (ps I love that term and am now adopting it).  Good luck with that!!

  • This is the one area where M has no interest. He's not into video games at all! I'm the reason we have a WII or SNES!
  • This may be happening soon. We were fridge and computer shopping at Best Buy Friday night and DH wandered over to the games and an over-zealous sales associate started talking him into it. DH hadn't heard of it before then (he doesn't watch a lot of tv and hadn't seen any commercials). So next paycheck, I have a feeling he'll be buying it.I don't want him to, but mostly because we need to buy another Rock Band set (our drums broke and we need an extra guitar), and Assassin's Creed 2 comes out Tuesday, which he's been looking forward to for about a year.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.
