I haven't lurked much on the local boards but thought I'd give it a shot now. I usually post on the military newlyweds board...
I'm Rosanna, I'm from Lake Charles but currently reside in the Savannah, GA area thanks to the Army. I've been married to my husband for 3.5 years, he's the one in the Army, not myself. We have no children but do have a dog. I'll be moving back to Louisiana for the next year so I thought I'd join this board. I guess that's all, I'll probably do some lurking to get a feel for you guys but wanted to do an intro for now!
Re: Hello...
Thank you for the welcomes.
It's nice to know that all of you are pretty friendly, some the boards can get pretty snarky. I hope to get to know some of you ladies!
Welcome to the board and thank you to your husband for his service!
Hope you stick around, I find we're a friendly bunch
Aw, I'll relay the message to him.
I do plan on sticking around.
I'm sorry, mascot?
This!
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
Hello & welcome! Where are you going in Cali? And do you love Savannah? It's high on me and MH's places to visit.
yes, the Baton Rouge Nestie mascot. Stick around, you'll figure it out.
Shoe, I'm craving more pears.
We're going to the San Diego area, Vista to be exact if you're familiar with the area. That's where my husband is from.
I loved Savannah when we first moved here, but now I find it to be less appealing each time we go. It's great for a vacation type thing but in my opinion, it's one of those things that you can only do so many times. And the traffic is ridiculous since it doesn't have interstates that get you from point A to B, just streets with red lights. It's definitely good for a visit though, very beautiful!
My mom owns a rental house in Vista, and used to live there. Now she is in Carlsbad. I love the San Diego area!
