I'm half-way done with my Christmas cards!

Yay!   I ran out of all the cards I had left over from last year (or more like bought at 75% off)...and most of the cards were toward co-workers.  Ha.  I gotta love working for Target and actually liking most of the people enough to get them cards. lol  I also got through both of our families.  I just have to probably buy one more pack of cards for the rest of my friends out of town and a few other people at Target.  I felt so productive.  Next weekend goal:  wrap presents.  Weekend after Thanksgiving:  Decorate.  And I'll be stress FREEEE in December. (Or that's the plan lol)

Note:  The reason why I do cards for so many people is mainly because it's not that expensive and I don't have to mail them most of them...I only have to mail maximum twenty cards, everyone else I should see in person this holiday season.

Re: I'm half-way done with my Christmas cards!

  • Sounds like a good plan.

DH and I don't know if we'll send any out this year...sometimes it feels like we send stuff out for the sake of sending them. I do admit I have fun doing it tho.

  • I actually thought about starting our  holiday cards last weekend and thought that I was too early....but, after reading this I am so going to get started!  hat will be one less thing to think or worry later.

  • Oh, but I do have to admit that I already bought our stamps when I was last at Costco.  Buy in bulk so I don't have to worry about it and they already had their Christmas stamps.

  • I'm going to start them the day after Tgiving and send them the first week of Dec.
  • As of the previous week-end, my cards are written out and stuffed in the envelopes, purely by accident. I have arthritis in my knee and it flared up pretty badly on Saturday. So, with taking NSAID's, putting my knee up and not wanting to move around, I did all my cards in one sitting.

All I have to do is stamp and mail them, which I will do in a couple of weeks.

I hope I never have a reason like that again when writing out my cards.
