So...GTG on Dec 12th/13th?
CKF? Or somewhere else AWAY from the mall during holiday shopping time?
I'm open...suggest a place! Dinner or brunch?
Re: So...GTG on Dec 12th/13th?
Mmmmm . . . cheesecake . . . : )
I think dinner works better for me, because I'm planning on helping a friend move that weekend. But I could do brunch on the 13th.
What about Benihana??
And either day works for me.
I've been to Benihana's once, thats out by the Mall aint it?
Has anyone been to the Macaroni Grill that's out by the Streets of Tansabourne?
I will make it this time because I am gonna ask for the day off. I am tired of working weekends all the time..boo.
Yep! It's good, but my favorite thing about them in the past was the "Make Your Own Pasta" thing. They still do it, but you have to ask for the sheets. And it seems like each time we go they take off one more thing. And their sangria reminds me of toilet bowl cleaner.
Learning to start all over again... Blog
Ew can I veto the Mac Grill?? Yuckers.

We have the GC's but they dont expire, so we can always use them another time.
also, saying 'Bennihana' to a KU nestie is mean-now its all I an think about!!! How would yu guys feel about going there? Yummmmm
I've never been to Benihana, but I've been to someplace like it. It sounds yummy to me!
And FWIW, it's just the sangria at Macaroni Grill that's skeevy; the food good. My cousin and her friend ordered the sangria and I could smell it across the table. At the end of the meal I realized what the smell reminded me of.

I really think Beni's is way overpriced, for average-at-best teriyaki food. It's a cool "show" and their drinks are delish, but I have never been impressed with the food.
Well, this certainly sounds like a fantastic idea
Well this is sad. I hope they aren't closing forever!
I vote for this. It looks delicious!!! Sunday brunch would be fun.
i'm sorry, i know i'm going to sound super lame, but i just can't bring myself to spend $9 for 2 eggs again with still being out of work, money is even more tight than it's ever been and that's the cheapest thing on the brunch menu...
i'd be willing to come and just order coffee so i can hang out with you all, but i feel like that's super rude to the restaurant...
so i vote no on that restaurant...sorry but if the majority wants it, then by all means go ahead!

I was going to say the same thing.. Fenouil seems pretty spendy for a brunch... I don't even think I'd go there for date night with hubby I'd love to gtg, but going to have to pass on Fenouil.
I completely understand where you ladies are coming from. I wish we had a larger space so I could host a potluck gtg. Baah! Let's keep coming up with other, more affordable, alternatives.
We have enough space at my house to host a potluck.. But I live in the burbs.. and its hard to get rid of hubby... if there are no other options though, I'll consider it for sure!!
Yeah, I'm in this boat too. DH and I have agreed that a GTG is ok, but we wont be going out to eat for awhile after that. Our budget recently became verrrrry tight.
So, since its my last meal out for awhile, I really want to enjoy it. I dont mind spending a little if its 'worth it'...but I can make most of those brunch items at home, ya know
I hate to be a spoil sport--I kinda want a nice-ish dinner.
