How do you warm up rolls and keep them warm?

I will probably be buying some dinner rolls from Costco's bakery this year for Christmas dinner.

How do you heat them up, and make sure they stay warm?

Re: How do you warm up rolls and keep them warm?

  • Oven, Our oven takes an hr to cool after we turn it off, maybe yours does the same, after there done cooking turn oven off crack the oven door and while the oven cools it still keeps them warm without overcooking or burning.
  • You can also use a ceramic dish with a lid, just heat it up in oven or microwave if its a safe dish and then keep rolls in the dish with a lid and keeps the rolls warm.
  • Put the rolls in a paper bag, get the paper bag a little wet/damp, put it in the oven on a warm setting. Pull them out when the bag is dry.

ETA: Don't take them out of the bag until ready to serve.

  • We grew up with a warming brick like this one.

You heat the rolls like you normally would, place the brick that was warmed in the oven in the bottom of a linen napkin lined basket.

Place the rolls on top of the brick and cover with another linen napkin.
