Sorry to be late, but yes Knit Happens is one of my favorite knitting stores. I also like Jessica Knits in North Scottsdale. If you are a new knitter, Jessica Knits has the friendlier staff (to me at least) and I tend to like the yarn brands that they stock a little better. But Knit Happens is a great store as well, and they have a great stock and the store is super nice.

Do you knit? There are Arizona knitters but I know very few.

Re: JenniferBultman

  • :::butting in::: ?I'm SOOO into knitting these days. I need to try to get up there one of these days when I'm not ridiculously busy. :( ?

Have either tried the Knifty Knitter? I'm so addicted! I just made a hat for someone's little boy and it turned out so cute! ?

  • I haven't tried a Nifty Knitter (however that's spelled) or any knitting machines/looms. I actually want one of those retro knitting looms where you use the bands and make potholders. I saw a pattern in a book that makes other stuff with them, and it's kinda cool.

If you haven't checked it out, go to www.ravelry.com. It's a knitting website/community and it's AWESOME. Totally free, and they have so many resources. Patterns, message boards, organizational tools, etc. You have to request an invitation (but I think it takes about 1 day to get your invitation).
