I have my wedding ring from my first marriage still. It just sits in my jewelry box collecting dust. I'd love to make some money selling it, but have no idea where to do it. I'm not desperate for money, so I don't want to go the pawn shop route. Does anyone know of a reputable place that buys jewelry? I still have the receipt and an appraisal on it, so I know what it's worth retail.
I've looked into Ebay, but there are 95,000 engagement rings alone on there....and they aren't selling for much. I don't get it. Diamonds and gold don't lose their value, so someone has to be willing to buy it from me! I know I won't get full retail, but I'm just looking to get some extra money for it. Any advice?! Thanks ladies!
Re: Where to sell jewelry?
If you're close to Winter Park, you can bring it the Jeweler who made my ring. I sold him some broken gold, and he's a stand-up guy!

I read about this company in the paper. It was started by business students at Rollins and now it is their "job"
