I am going to have to dig a little, but I had an awesome recipe (it may have been Paula Deen) for oatmeal cookies that were so buttery and brown sugary...yum, they were delicious.
I will check back in if I can find it on-line!
Here you go- I omit the raisins. Blech!

google the Nieman Marcus cookie and you'll find a recipe for the BEST cookie ever! It's not truly an oatmeal cookie - more of a chocolate chip cookie with oatmeal in it which makes it chewy.
Ditto Vikki - if you want traditional oatmeal raisin, I love the recipe on the quaker oats container.
I've been dying to make these...... Please share!
