Visiting Milwaukee Questions
Hi! I'm going to be going up there in a couple weeks for my husband's work conference. The way the flights worked out we have to arrive on a Saturday morning and the work stuff doesn't start until after dinner. (So we have the full day)
We are staying at the Milwaukee Athletic Club downtown and won't have a car. (But we don't mind walking a fair amount or taking a quick cab ride)
Do you have any suggestions of what to do during the day? Dinner or lunch suggestions? Is there any boutique type shopping in the downtown area? (not the mall)

Check out what festival is going on the week you are here. The festival grounds are a short cab ride or a 15 min walk. I would take a cab since you will walk around the festival a lot. Go hungry.
There are a ton of restaurants and bars near the MAC for night life.
