Re: The Bengals signed Larry Johnson

  • Figured that was gonna happen after all that stuff the past two days.

  • I admit - I like to read TO's twitter every Monday after game day. Yesterday, he said something to Chad - went to his Twitter and Chad said something along the lines of if Larry Johnson is coming to the Bengals - or if he's coming to the stadium, I'll tweet ROC is in the house. A few hours later, he was putting that statement on Twitter and I knew it was going to happen. It will be interesting to see what happens with him as a Bengal!
  • Glad to see him out of KC.
  • Wow, I can't wait to see the dynamic between him and Ocho Cinco.  Maybe they can go out and be douchy together.

BTW, does it annoy anyone else that it should be "ochenta y cinco" or "ochenta cinco" not ocho cinco?  He's eighty five, not eight five Stick out tongue

He discussed this on HBO's Hard Knocks: The Bengals.

  • Oh, I don't have HBO.  I guess I can google it... I was mostly kidding.  Ocho Cinco is easier to say anyway.
  • I don't have HBO either.  The whole thing is on Youtube.  It's actually very interesting.
  • am I the only fan that thinks this is an awful move...I don't like messing with the dynamics they have going right now

As the fourth running back though?  It's not like he'll even be used unless someone gets hurt.

more from the standpoint of his personality not his play

I'm glad to see I'm not the only football fan who thinks this way. People worship people like Ricky Williams or Randy Moss or Michael Vick, and I just think that their actions/behaviors/personalities/morals play a big role in their life as a player too, and not just how they perform on the field. I know people make mistakes, but I just can't get excited about a player who acts without common sense or is blatantly a mean person.

  • But really, as a fourth anything, if your attitude is really negatively affecting the team, you'll be waived, or sat, or something.  Say what you want about Chad Johnson, but Marvin Lewis doesn't put up with that crap.  He sat Corey Dillon at a time when he was the best player on the team simply because of his attitude and comments made.
