Cleaning/Preserving Gown Recs

Anyone have any rec's from where you got your gown cleaned and preserved? I feel like after 3 months of it sitting my closet, I finally need to get on this. I have heard of Davis Imperial, but they are so stupidly expensive.

TIA.

Re: Cleaning/Preserving Gown Recs

  • I just took mine to my local cleaner and they cleaned/pressed/preserved it for $150.00

  • I really need to do this too. Seems like every time it gets brought up on a board, Davis is suggested. Would I love the museum quality? Yes. Do I want to spend more than half of what my dress cost? Not so much.

Someone did have a good idea on my anniversary board- ask the place where you rented your tuxes. They should have a good, solid connection.

If I ever get around to this, I'll let you know what I hear!
