Sorry I haven't responded quicker. This board is so slow that I don't stop by all that often.
I am seeing Dr. Sherbahn at the Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago, although it's actually in Gurnee. I went there for my ivf and I think that is all they do, although maybe they do iui's as well. I've been really happy with the clinic, all the nurses and Dr. Sherbahn are very nice. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it considering that I am pregnant. If you're going the ivf route they have some of the highest success rates in the Midwest.
I did do two iui's at Froedtert with Dr. Strawn and Dr. Robb but Dr. Strawn and I had different opinions regarding my course of treatment and well, I just don't think our personalities matched very well if that makes sense. For any kind of fertility treatments you really need someone who you are comfortable with.
If you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer them.
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then success with condoms! Who would ever have guessed.
