Good morning everyone! I'm new to the website and to all the wedding planning! (although I'm basically done with planning!) I have to admit, I'm super stressed and really overwhelmed...My fiance and I are in the market to buy ourselves a new home, we just want to have something to call our own and at the same time, we are planning our wedding, and when I say we, I mean me! ha
also, we are trying to keep up with both our 50+ hour a week jobs and stay sane! How do you all do it??
Re: newly engaged :)
Congrats!
No advice for how to get everything done, it all just sort of does.
GL on everything!! DH and I tried to buy a house before our wedding too, but we weren't successful. It ended up over stressing us and we found that we weren't able to focus on our relationship and the wedding while spending all of our free time house searching. So my advice is that if it seems like it's becoming too much to handle, put a brief pause on the house search. A couple months after the wedding we began searching again, once all of the craziness was over!
I grew up in Southington too. The good thing is that there is a wide range of house prices! And it's a great place to grow up (as I'm sure your FI knows!).. and our football team is definitely the best in the state!!!
