What kind of Christmas card do you all send out?

Last year the hubby and I sent out a photo Card. It was a picture of the two of us on our Honeymoon and it said "First Christmas as Husband and Wife." It was a huge hit! I was thinking of doing the same this year.........but.....do you all think its kind of vain to send a card with the picture of just the two of us? When we have children i am definitely going to send out holiday cards with our children's photos on it....but...since its just the two of us should I just go for a regular card instead???

I don't think it's vain at all. I do the same thing very year...We pose with our furbabies and send it. We aren't having kids so we are are own little family. This way as the years go by ppl can see how your family is growing.

I don't think it's vain; I always appreciate received photo cards from friends and family, regardless of whether or not they have kids. We did this our first married Christmas and did a collage of a few wedding pics since Christmas was just two months after the wedding. Last year we didn't do anything, but this year I'm thinking of sending cards with a pic of us in front of our front door or something housey since this is the first Christmas in our house.

I don't think it is "vein" either.  I've been wanting to do this for the past few yrs, but DH thinks it is more of a thing for "children" photos.  I do love the idea.  Hopefully I can convince him this yr.

I don't think it's vain either. DH and I did this two years ago with Chewy dressed up as Santa under the Christmas tree and everyone loved it!

Thanks guys. I only send them out to a few select people anyways so I think I may do it again.

Eli- That pic of you two with chewy as Santa sounds adorable!!! You must post it now though......

What a cuuuuuutey!!!!

I want a little dog so badly. DH wont let me get one . He says it wouldn't be fair to the poor thing since we are never home. Which is true. We both have different work schedules and the only day were home were sleeping. ::sigh::

Aww Jenny, he's right. Chewy needs SOOOO much attention. It's actually a blessing that DH and I work different schedules so we can spend more time wtih him. He is like our child, our little spoiled baby.

Well now you are just taunting me....hes such a cutey. Seriously considering quitting my job so I can have a puppy lol.

We are doing photo cards this year, but my FI thinks it's so "gay" as he put it so we aren't sending them to his friends lol.  I don't .  I know what you mean, but if you are going to send a regular card vs sending a photo card, I would personally want a photo of my friends/family to hang up. 

I love your idea Jenny about a pic from the honeymoon.  I think I am going to change mine to that! 

Oh and as for a dog, I agree with your DH and Eli that they need lots of attention.  My dog is so needy, to the point where I wonder how jealous she will be when we have kids.  She sleeps with us and is barely ever home alone.  When she is, she won't eat or anything - she has issues!
