Re: xp anyone have christmas cookies recipes

  • I like No-Chill Sugar Cookies.

No need to chill the dough before you roll it out. Dust your counter with some flour, and the dough won't stick. And it holds together well (as long as you don't roll it too thin) -- no cookies breaking apart when you transfer them from the counter to the cookie sheet.  And the dough holds up well to being rolled, and re-rolled (some cookies get tough when you roll the dough too much).

  • that looks so easy to make...thanks!!

  • Google sugar cookie, shortbread cookie and gingerbread cookie recipes, you'll find something that works for you.

And have you really baked before?  In general, cookie cutters aren't used with choc. chip cookies.

Im aware that I can google these but would like recipes that have been tried by nesties.

You are able to use cutters with choc chips cookies, they just don't come out pretty.  I only attemped this with my cousins daughter who wanted to make heart cookies.  I dont appreciate that comment but whatever.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be offensive.  The Googling was in regards to decorating ideas- I realize I didn't totally finish my thought on that before I posted.  I asked about whether or not you've done any baking to clarify exactly what you were looking for- totally novice baker or have experience with easy recipes.
